Little illustrations to do with my last project, on gang members. When they have the courage and strength to leave their past life in the gang behind, they are strong and free as a bear in the wild, or a lion or a tiger. But just like a tigers stripes are always on his body, and the lion has none, they are both as strong as each other. When a ex -gang member gets his tattoos removed, he is still the same person he was before, just as strong, but the markings are only there in his knowledge - not the visible public's eyes.

Switzerland

I travelled across Switzerland last week, visiting many areas in the east and south east, including popping over to Lichtenstein! It was incredibly beautiful amongst the snowy mountains and blue skies when it was sunny in the first days. Then it snowed overnight and kept on snowing, which turned the landscape into something very misty and atmospheric, like something out of Narnia, so stunning...

Switzerland and Lichtenstein are definitely two of most beautiful countries I've ever seen!

Snow White

There's nothing more comforting than being inside, watching snow fall and settle, it's amazing to think how the landscape changes before your eyes. Only two weeks ago the whole river area was completely flooded and the ducks were having the time of their lives. Now the dogs are having fun running in the snow, as the ducks shelter amongst the low river branches. I threw a snowball at some geese and the poor things thought it was bread, but they don't need humans to survive so they will be fine.
